Would you let your phone decide?

Your phone is smarter than you. For some of us, that might not be much of a surprise considering there are functions on our handy dandy phones that we haven't learned to use yet... However, with a new piece of software called HappyWakeUp, your phone can analyse your sleep patterns and wake you up at the optimal moment. According to the website, "HappyWakeUp ArousalClock detects the natural arousal moments during the morning hours (GREEN DOTS) and gives the alarm signal. A soft signal is sufficient to wake you up. These are the optimal moments to obtain and feel an easy and happy wake up."

Problem is, I'm in a pretty constant sleep debt and rely on my alarm to wake me up at the right time, regardless how happy it's going to make me. So, using this, I'd never hit REM because I'd be so paranoid that the software would let me oversleep and make me late. Maybe this would be for weekends only. Oh, wait. The Dude takes care of that for me.
