Sorry we lost your info... 18 months ago

T-Mobile announced, ahem, a German magazine recently reported that T-Mobile lost data on 17 Million of its customers... over 18 months ago. Apparently, the records contained customers' name, date of birth, address and mobile phone number, and some email addresses for millions of customers. They've been monitoring sites to see if the data gets sold; but claim that no one has been using it, nor that any banking info was included. Not exactly reassuring, considering they never announced it. Lovely business ethics... Makes you wonder where your info is and who has access to it...
