Shiny happy home

An artist by the name of Roger Hoirn makes his living combining chemistry and art: he grows crystals on things. His latest project was to seal off an entire apartment and pour in a superstaurated copper-sulfate solution, to grow crystals on absolutely every single surface. The result is absolutely breathtaking, and yet completely useless, as you can see below. Not sure what the statement is, but I still like it :)
