Bono: New York Times Op-Editor

The New York Times just announced that everyone's favourite anti-poverty pop star will be writing occasional Op-Eds for the paper. His columns will be (thankfully) available online via I don't read physical newspapers unless they're free when I'm getting on a plane or in a hotel room.

I loved Bono's quote about the whole thing. "What an honor... I've never been great with the full stops or commas. Let’s see how far we can take this."

Aside: Having worked in marketing communications, I know that most press releases have contrived quotes that the "speaker" never actually uttered but ultimately approved. This one, however, sounds pretty natural and possibly even real! LOL
