Global Education Explorer: for nomadic parents

I am an air force brat, which means that my schooling consisted of 4 elementary schools and 3 high schools. The moving sucked enough but was usually compounded by trying to maneuver within varying provincial curricula and school jurisdiction rules.

I studied everything from English programs to Francophone programs to International Baccalaureate. And how I wish we would have had access to a program like the one announced Tuesday by School Choice International. Global Education Explorer is primarily for expat parents, providing country-specific schooling info to help make education-related decisions.

The official launch date is tomorrow, Jan. 9, featuring 3 countries: Australia, Switzerland and UK. The full list is intended to grow over the course of the year.
