A website to help you say you're sorry

Oops I'm Sorry is a website that enables its users to apologize or request an apology for a slight. The site features "Apology to" enabling users to make an apology, "Apology due" to request an apology, "Confessions" to post anonymous messages (much in the spirit of Post Secret).

Funny concept, these websites that provide people with a public forum to perform what should otherwise be an intimate action. How is proclaiming your error to the general public safer and easier than doing so in private? Esp. considering that only Confessions is anonymous; everything else bares your name! What do you think? I'd rather have a private and sincere apology than something public, for show. Unless of course the apology had already been made and this was part of the retribution... oh, now I'm onto something... :P
