67s Fundraiser for Rene Faucher

On Sunday Jan 17th, René was carrying the puck up the ice when he hit a rut and crashed headfirst into the boards. The impact crushed three of his vertebrae, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down.

There's a very special fundraiser at this Sunday's 67s game to help Rene and his family at this difficult time.

See below for information from the 67s website, and a link to buy tickets.

Also, please take a moment to head over to A Peek Inside the Fishbowl to read about all the activities surrounding this game, and how you can participate or help even if you can't attend.

From the 67s site:

The 40-year-old father of three young children is expected to be in the hospital for at least a year through his recovery and rehabilitation. He did not have any long-term disability insurance. He had recently wound down his business and was starting to develop plans for his next venture.

This event is being put on to help René and his wife Dianne Douglas with their financial responsibilities as well as pull the community together to support them.

To purchase tickets

50% of ticket prices will be donated to the family. That $5 per ticket. To buy tickets, please use this special link.
