Hallowe'en Costume Geekspiration

Looking for something geeky to wear this Hallowe'en? It's probably too late for some of these, but you never know... they just might inspire you!

If you're really in a pinch, Apple came out with a handy iWear kit containing a black turtleneck, blue jeans and New Balance sneakers. (Ok, not really, but it's pretty funny)

And chances are, you won't have time to put together a working iPhone costume, so here are some other ideas:

Go for anything Star Wars, such as Darth Vader

Go old skool as a Rubik's Cube

Go completely original (ok, maybe not completely) as an Apple Commercial Shadow Dancer

Go as the aggravating Blue Screen of Death

Go visual as a Pixelated Image

Go Tim Burton-y as Jack Skellington

Go comic book geeky as Doctor Octopus (the Spider-Man is a nice touch)

or as Iron Man

But my #1 favourite is this one: Steampunk Iron Man

Oh, and don't forget, you'll need a geeky pumpkin to go with your costume.

Caveat: as good parents, our fave geeky costume is of course going to be the Dude's. In the past, he's been Tigger, Grave Digger the monster truck, Buzz Lightyear, Clark Kent, and Adam Savage of Mythbusters. This year, he's Ang the Last Airbender, complete with bowstaff and forehead/ hand tattoos. This is Ang in the movie:
But truth be told, if he could be have been the Steampunk Iron Man, all 3 of us would have been thrilled ;)

Got a different favourite geeky costume? Leave a link in the comments!
Happy Hallowe'en!
