Kewl Design Alert: Scanner mouse. Finally.

If you do, well... just about any type of work, at some point you've wanted to scan something. And you probably have to trudge down the hall to a photocopier, scan and email it back to yourself.

But it would be so much easier if there was a handy little device to do the scanning right where you are, when you need it. Maybe it would even be your mouse.

Well, here it is. LG announced the LG LSM-100 earlier this year at CES. It's a scanner that seems to work like magic: you just run it over whatever you want to scan and... well, that's it, really.

It's designed with the user in mind. If you think about it, the motion is like an eraser: just rub the mouse over the item. Simple. Effective. Great design.
