Kewl App Alert: Clik Lets You Control Your TV With The Force!

What if there was a way for you to control any tv screen using nothing but the force? Ok, maybe not the force. How about your smartphone?

Seriously, there's this little (Canadian!) app called Clik that lets you take over a screen merely by waving your phone in front of it.

According to the app description,
you simply scan your iPhone or Android across the tv and - Clik! - [the] tv has been taken over and you're holding the remote.... Play, pause, search, browse, turn it up, turn it down and show off favourites instantly, all from the palm of your hand.
Ok, there's a bit more to it than that because the screen you want to take over has to be web-enabled and you will need to scan a QR code... but still! This is kewl! We use our phones and computers to control our tv, and it's incredibly handy when the Dude forgets to put the remotes back where they belong.

If anything this would be an effective party trick. Especially if your phone is small enough to palm and your friends are in a state... they you might actually be able to convince them that it's the force. {evil laugh}
