Friday Fun: Amazing Tiny Lego Band Rocks For Real

Featured on
What happens when you take some electronic instruments and build a teeny Lego robot band to play them? Awesomeness, that's what!

Hubby sent this to me yesterday knowing it would be perfect for the blog and I couldn't agree more. (Clearly, the man gets me.) I love the way they add more and more robots and instruments as the song progresses, layering the sounds on top of each other. If you don't recognize the robot characters, they're Bionicles (a Lego robot species that usually performs battles, not music :). Bionicles are an interesting choice for this type of experiment, since they already boast a humanoid shape and have the requisite joints to permit the movements required for instrumentation.

This video makes me ridiculously happy. Posting it here means I get to share it with you and also bookmark it for whenever I need a pick-me-up.

Enjoy and happy Friday!
