Kewl Design Alert: Sleek Wooden Touch Slab Mouse

So you have all the gadgets in your office, and really don't want a standard-issue mouse to sit on your desk and add clutter. How do you balance functionality and minimalism? With this sleek wooden touchpad, crafted from a single piece of wood:

Orée Touch Slab Wooden Mouse
Not only is it simple in its form, but it's also impressive in its design: the center has been hollowed out and filled with sensors and circuitry. There's very little information on the Orée Design website but it goes on sale later this month and is available for pre-order.

Despite its hipster tendencies, I have to admit that I love when tech gets this pretty. (although I do wonder if this is carpal waiting to happen...)
