Homemade Lego Advent Calendar 2015: Day 2 - Hot Tub

The story behind the Homemade Lego Advent Calendar: We opted not to buy the Dude a Lego Advent Calendar for the past few years. The Dude was quite amenable, countering with: "Ok, then you have to build me something every day until Christmas." Challenge accepted! This is the series of daily posts, cataloguing my builds.

As the temperature falls, there's something about sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars. I'm not sure if craving a dip inspired this build or the other way around. Either way, I have to say that this one has a much nicer setup than ours, what with the bar ledge and pagoda. Another relatively large build, this one is about 6 inches long by 4 inches wide. If I keep it up, I'm going to run out of big bricks in no time. Got to pace myself! Still 22 builds to go...

Notice the loose Lego pieces "floating" on top of the water? And if you're wondering about the dragon: he was included at the Dude's request. He left the dragon guy by his bedroom door at bedtime and told me to incorporate him into the build. :)

I'm pretty happy with this one. If for no other reason than I can move it around and it doesn't break. So many of the builds are delicate and I end up breaking and building them multiple times. LOL

See you tomorrow!
